Stone Built Home, Bespoke Timber Casement Windows and Doors
We were delighted to work on this exceptional project within the Staffordshire Moorlands, enhancing a beautiful stone-built home rich in character, complete with traditional stone mullions and timeless architectural detail.
Properties such as this demand a careful balance, preserving heritage aesthetics while introducing modern performance and this project perfectly reflects how we combine traditional craftsmanship with our Modern Timber Technology.
The full scheme was thoughtfully delivered in three carefully managed phases.
How We Delivered
Phase 1
We manufactured and installed 8 bespoke casement windows in engineered Red Grandis, selected for its durability and stability. Each window was factory-finished in a high-performance micro-porous coating, colour-matched to Farrow & Ball Old White, and complemented with black teardrop handles.
Phase 2
A further 15 casement windows were installed to the same exacting specification, ensuring complete consistency across the elevation and reinforcing the cohesive appearance of the home.
Phase 3
The final phase brought the project together, with the addition of another casement window alongside a bespoke front and back door.
The rear door, crafted in Red Grandis, features insulated tongue & groove panels, a black Gothic handle, and the same refined Old White finish, delivering both performance and understated elegance.
The front entrance door provides a true focal point. Designed with two lower solid panels and a glazed upper section featuring sweeping Gothic arches, it perfectly complements the surrounding stonework while elevating the overall façade with a sense of grandeur and craftsmanship.
The Result
The completed project is a seamless blend of heritage design and modern performance. The consistency of finish, attention to detail, and sympathetic design choices ensure the property’s original character is not only preserved but enhanced.
