About the Company

The current business was founded in 2014, but our roots go back much further than that.

Owned and run by the Brookes family – Neil, Sue and son Bradley, our impeccably designed and handcrafted timber windows, doors and staircases are manufactured here in the UK.

As proud members of Made in Britain, all our products are handcrafted by our highly skilled carpenters and joiners on site, in our workshop which is tucked away in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside.

We work in partnership with aspirational homeowners, architects, interior designers and developers to design, manufacture and install the highest quality timber windows, doors and staircases.

Where It All Started

Our founder Neil Brookes wanted to be a joiner from an early age and found he had a natural talent for it,

Achieving a fully indentured apprenticeship by the time he was just 19-years-old.

What he didn’t know at that stage, was that joinery ran in the family and was very much part of his heritage.

His Grandad Jack, who he didn’t get to meet until he had completed his training, had in fact been a joiner his entire life.

Neil instantly felt a special connection and bond with his grandfather after finding out about their shared love of woodwork, especially knowing that his career would follow in his footsteps.

We have one of Jack’s vintage woodworking planes on display in the office as a tribute to our heritage and his memory.

Approach and Progress

Our team of expert designers, joiners and installers pride themselves on going the extra mile to ensure every project they work on has that wow factor.

We understand that every single project is different. Whether you’re transforming a listed building and need to find the perfect sash window, or you want a statement wooden front door for a contemporary build, our team will work with you from the very start to meet your bespoke requirements.

Every single project, starts with a detailed brief and follows these main steps as part of the process:

  • Home visit, project discussion.

  • Estimate and design phase.
  • Survey final measure and order details.

  • Manufacturing process begins.

  • Timber is machined to the correct lengths and profiles – ready for assembly.

  • Assembly of frames, doors and windows.

  • Spray finish application.

  • Fit up stage – including locks, glazing and seals.

  • Installation.

  • Completion – customer given a Care Pack and guarantee.

Certified for Peace of Mind

To give our customers added peace of mind we are members of CERTASS, a UKAS-accredited certification body authorised by the Government since 2006.

This accreditation means that our timber products have to meet high-quality benchmarks, giving our customers added confidence. This certification also means we offer an official insurance-backed guarantee policy, giving you increased confidence in our products and services.

In addition to the insurance-backed guarantee, we also provide deposit protection insurance. This extra layer of security ensures that your deposit is safe, giving you added peace of mind as your project progresses.
