Our client was keen to restore this elegant home to its former glory, so it was important that any work done was done sympathetically and with a detailed understanding of the required aesthetics.
It was also important that the new windows and doors measured up to the highest modern technical standards.
How We Delivered
Our Signature range, spiral balance sash windows with arched tops were the perfect design for this project. Fitting the profile for traditional Victorian sash windows and ticking all the boxes for modern technical standards. They were created with stabilised Red Gandis timber and colour matched with Farrow and Ball Worsted.
The beautiful, elegant feature front door combination includes a fan light above the door, and it also features a sunburst design, allowing lots of natural light to shine through. The side panels are glazed and panelled to match the front door design, allowing the interior hallway to benefit from an abundance of light. The design of the door and side lights fits perfectly with overall visual aesthetic of the Victorian house.
The timber used to create the bespoke door was stabilised Red Grandis and the doorknob is aged brass with a matching lock and cylinder pull. With a high security multi point locking system, high security is guaranteed.
The frame, fanlight and side panels are finished in our high-performance paint, colour matched to Farrow & Ball Worsted and the door is Jet Black on the outside and Worsted on the inside.
Our bespoke entrance doors make a statement on any property and create the first impressions homeowners are striving for. With the brass doorknob, it really adds a huge amount of character and is engineered to stand the test of time.
Our spiral balance sash window system offers the same elegant appearance as a traditional weights and pulleys sash, but with a modern mechanism.
The Result
We were absolutely delighted this bespoke, handcrafted entrance door and spiral balance sash windows and the customer was too. It matched his requirements exactly.
